I recently finished doing up the photos that I took in Scotland. It was really enjoyable editing these photos as I got to reminisce the awesome time I spent in Scotland. This project has also reminded me that my first love in photography is still street photography - the emotions, the gestures and the human subject that is involved in street photography is, in my opinion, breathtaking. Every project and trip that I undertake provides an entirely different experience and lesson that I take away and this trip has certainly realigned my goals with that of Stendhal District. I hope you enjoy the photos and of course check out Stendhal District for even more!
On the 10th October this year, I had the immense opportunity of having to shoot for Breast Reconstruction Awareness Singapore (BRAS), a local support group which aims to provide information and support to breast cancer patients and to encourage more women to consider breast reconstruction. It is the first time I did something like this and it was an extremely rewarding shoot, both in experience and in serving a good cause. Please have a look at some of the photographs I have taken for the event. Cheers!
I shall end this mid-week mayhem with a rather melancholic photograph. When I saw this man struggling with his groceries on the hilly alleyway, I immediately thought of two things: that is to help him out and also to snap a photo. The latter came to mind first as the photography instinct took over me. Help seemed to scream out from the wrinkles etched in his face. After taking the photo, I went up to him offering help but to no avail due to the ineptitude of my cantonese and his unrelenting pride.
On a side note, I shall be uploading the rest of my Macau shots very soon so do keep a look out for more photographs. Enjoy the site and of course check out Stendhal District for even more!
I have recently decided to redesign my personal portfolio. It is a lot more simple and, in my opinion, a lot more interactive than my old design. It only features 2 galleries - "Latest" & "Past Works". "Latest" speaks for itself while "Past Works" consists of photographs that I personally love the most out of my entire collection of photographs. Also, I have included a blog on my site for you guys to be updated on any news with regards to my photography or Stendhal District. The photograph above is a sneak preview of the upcoming gallery of the photographs I took in Macau. Enjoy the site and of course check out Stendhal District for even more!
